SCARLETT JOHANSSON’S WORST NIGHTMARE: Stalker Unleashes New Campaign!

Scarlett Johansson’s stalker was arrested after allegedly threatening to bomb the SNL studios where her husband Colin Jost works. 

Michael Joseph Branham, 48, was arrested on Wednesday in New York City after he allegedly texted his university where he’s enrolled: ‘THE NEXT TIME YOU HERE [sic] FROM ME I WILL BE ON CNN FOR EXPLODING A BOMB IN SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE AUDIENCE,’ the criminal complaint, viewed by the New York Post, said.

NBC Universal and 30 Rock – where the show is filmed – reported the message to the NYPD, police sources told The Post.

Branham – who has a large heart tattoo with Johansson’s name written across it – was arrested for being a threat and his ‘personal obsession’ with the Marvel actress, prosecutors said.

He was arraigned on Thursday on felony charges of false reporting an incident and making a threat of mass harm.

His bail was set at $100,000 cash or $300,000 bond bail, despite his public defender, Jamie Alexander Niskanen-Singer, arguing it should lower.

The attorney argued in court that Branham had been scammed by people posing as the Fly Me to the Moon star and the scammers could be the ones behind the attack, The Post reported.

‘He has given out information. He may have been hacked, your honor,’ Niskanen-Singer told the judge. ‘It’s very possible here that there is someone that is setting him up.’

DailyMail.com has reached out to Branham’s lawyer for comment.

Judge Janet McDonnell denied the request, reminding the lawyer that Branham had ‘threatened to bomb Saturday Night Live, which is a violent bail qualifying offense.’

McDonnell went a step further and gave both Johansson and Jost orders of protection against Branham, despite Niskanen-Singer saying it was unnecessary since the couple did not witness the crime, The Post reported.

Johansson had previously tried to get a restraining order against Braham after he showed up to her home in November 2023 and claimed to have fathered one of her children.

He had also allegedly left a number of letters and children’s toys outside Johansson’s mansion. The notes he is said to have left also saw the alleged stalker express his wish to meet Cosmo and spend time with him as his father.

The actress was denied the restraining order after she was unable to serve Brahman the papers.

Branham, who has four warrants in Kentucky, has posted about the Lucy actress on his social media pages several times.

He posted a series of photos on March 30, with the caption: “Where am I?” The photos indicated that he was in New York City.

A week prior, he posted close up photos of his eyes, claiming he went to the FBI office in New York and agents told him ‘they have had control over my cameras in my eyes and they hear everything in my head.

He also posted about buying a new gun four days before his trip to the Big Apple.

On his X account, he posted in June 2023 that he would be in NYC ‘soon’ and that him and Johansson ‘will have a great time, we just gotta get past this game.’

He also told the actress she looked good in business attire and thanked for her ‘buying me a car!!!!’

‘You’re the best woman ever in my life, even before you bought me this car!’ he wrote in December 2021. ‘I love you, beautiful!!!!’

The same day, he wrote: ‘Don’t worry about anything [Johansson] I still have not cheated on you no matter what the brain interface people tell you in the air waves!!! I love you honey I’m waiting for you still in Hollywood.’

On his LinkedIn, he also claimed to be ‘Scarlett Johansson’s Fiancée [sic].’

Brahman is expected back in court on April 8.
