Vito and Ellie Goldstein’s partnership on the hit BBC One dance contest is going from strength to strength

Vito Coppola has declared ‘so much love’ for his Strictly Come Dancing co-star Ellie Goldstein after her adorable ‘hero’ admission.
The pair’s partnership on the hit BBC One dance contest is going from strength to strength, with the duo having won over viewers in the first few weeks of the competition.
Ellie and Vito were last seen in the famous ballroom on Saturday night (October 18) after making it through to week four of the competition.
It was then, during Sunday’s (October 19) results show, that their place in the competition was confirmed for another week, with it now revealed that they will be performing a Salsa to Spice Girls Medley.
While they have been hard at work in training for the next live show this Saturday (October 25), the pair did take some time out to hit the red carpet as they attended the Pride of Britain Awards 2025 at the start of the week.

While there, they were quizzed about their Strictly journey so far, with Ellie describing it as being “lovely” with her professional dance partner.
Asked if he’s a good teacher by What’s on TV Magazine, Ellie gushed: “I love him so much! The best teacher in the whole entire public.” She then turned to look at him and said: “I love you!”
They were also both asked who their hero is, in theme with the inspirational night they were set to be part of, and without hesitation, Ellie replied: “My hero is Vito,” to which Vito seemed taken aback and sweetly asked her about the other heroes in her life.
When she said it was because he’s always there to support her, a touched Vito replied: “I’m honoured! Thank you so much,” before he planted a kiss on her forehead and they embraced.
Vito then reshared a clip of their red carpet chat with What’s on TV Magazine to his Instagram Story and gushed: “Love you so much my little firefly.”
