Linda Robson’s Painful Confession Rocks Fans: “I Caught Him Lots and Lots of Times” — The Loose Women Legend Opens Up on Betrayal, Heartbreak, and Starting Over

Loose Women favourite and Birds of a Feather icon Linda Robson is no stranger to honesty — but one of her most devastating revelations has resurfaced ahead of her appearance on The Weakest Link this Saturday night.

The 66-year-old actress once stunned viewers with her raw confession about her first great love, Tom Tyler, the father of her eldest daughter Lauren. The pair were together for 11 years — but behind the smiles, Linda was living through heartbreak.

“I caught him lots and lots of times,” she bravely admitted on Loose Women. “Probably my biggest regret is that I didn’t finish it earlier.”

Linda described Tom as a “serial cheat”, revealing how he betrayed her again and again — yet she stayed, hoping he would change. Even years later, Tom reportedly blamed her for the breakup, claiming she “worked too much.” Linda called it what it was — a lie.

“I was always there,” she said firmly. “He just didn’t appreciate it.”

The star later confessed that the relationship haunted her for years. “It took me a long time to get over that because he was my first love,” she admitted, her voice breaking with emotion.

 From heartbreak to healing
Linda later found love again with Mark Dunford, whom she married and shared over three decades of her life with. But even that long marriage came with pain of its own.

In a brutally honest on-air moment, she revealed:

“Can I just say I’ve been celibate for two years? I can’t be [bleep]ed with all that romance stuff. I’m just happy going out with my mates, my kids, and my grandkids.”

Despite trying to make it work, the couple quietly split in 2023 after 33 years together. Now, Linda says she’s finally at peace — embracing single life, staying close to her family, and even planning a cruise with her Birds of a Feather co-star Lesley Joseph

“He’s a good dad and we had some good years,” she said recently, “but enough is enough. I’ve got my family and my kids around me — that’s all I need.”

As fans prepare to see Linda return to screens on The Weakest Link, her story serves as a reminder that even the strongest women can break — but they can also rise again.
