“Kelvin Fletcher and his family receive overwhelming support following surprise announcement”

Television actor and personality Kelvin Fletcher has announced the return of a much-loved programme. Kelvin rose to fame for his role as Andy Sugden in Emmerdale before making a career U-turn by purchasing a 18th-century, 120-acre farm in the Peak District.

Alongside his wife, Liz Fletcher, the couple then starred in their own shows ‘Life on the Farm: The Fletchers’ Inspiring Story’ and ‘Fletchers’ Family Farm: Capturing the Heart of the Countryside’. The couple documented their life as novice farmers balancing parenthood and rural challenges.

In a recent Instagram post, Kelvin was flooded with support from fans as he announced the show’s return. A video showed Liza and their four children interacting with sheep, pigs cows, goats and chickens.

The caption read: “And you thought we were just showing you a new born lamb! SERIES 3 is GOOOOOOOO! #fletchersfamilyfarm.”

Fans were overjoyed by the post, including one who said: “Just the loveliest programme, story, lifestyle… absolute joy/hats off to you all for following your dreams – and having the courage and determination to do it!!”

Another wrote: Yes!!! I loved series 1&2, I heard series 3 wasn’t happening so this is great news. Love everything that you all do on the farm.”

A third said: “I love watching you, you should be so proud of yourselves, fabulous farmers and parents. A joy to watch, some other celebrity parents should take a leaf out of your book, raising your children brilliantly x.”

Kelvin and Liz have four kids together – Marnie, Milo and twins Maximus and Mateusz – and they’re ever-present in the series.

The little ones can be seen loving the rural lifestyle and getting involved in some of the tasks, such as herding the sheep, reported the Express.

The announcement comes after the couple released their own book, Fletchers On The Farm: Mud, Mayhem and Madness.

Kelvin has also just launched his own podcast dedicated to the world of soaps, and examining storylines from two he’s been in himself – Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

He spent two decades on the latter soap, and while that lifestyle is part of his past, he now interviews the ITV show’s current actors for Off Script, adding to the opportunities fans have to engage with him.
