Kelvin Fletcher Overwhelmed with Support After Huge Family Announcement with Wife Liz.

Kelvin Fletcher waved goodbye to his showbiz career for a serene farm life in Cheshire near the Peak District National Park.

The former Emmerdale star turned farmer made his switch following his 2019 triumph on Strictly Come Dancing with dance pro Oti Mabuse.

Viewers adored the initial two seasons of Fletcher’s Family Farm, and now, Kelvin has sparked rumours of the beloved show’s return to ITV with his latest tease on social media.

Previous teasers featuring Kelvin, his wife Liz, and their four children amidst their array of farm animals racked up thousands of likes, and fans were gutted back in February when Liz declared, “It’s a wrap,” signalling the show’s break.

But as spring lambing season kicks off, the Fletchers have hinted that a new season is “GOOOOOO” alongside an adorable clip of a lamb nuzzling its mother.

The family’s hint at the show’s comeback alongside the sweet lamb video has sent fans into rapture, reports the Express.

“Just the loveliest programme, story, lifestyle… absolute joy/hats off to you all for following your dreams – and having the courage and determination to do it!” gushed an enthusiastic fan.

“Yes!! ! I loved series 1 and 2. I heard series 3 wasn’t happening, so this is great news. I love everything that you all do on the farm,” another fan eagerly responded.

A fan was full of praise, sharing their thoughts: “I love watching you, you should be so proud of yourselves, fabulous farmers and parents. A joy to watch, some other celebrity parents should take a leaf out of your book, raising your children brilliantly x.”

Filming has begun for series 3 of Fletcher's Family Farm

Kelvin and Liz are parents to four adorable kids—Marnie, Milo, and twins Maximus and Mateusz—all of whom feature prominently in the show. They embrace country life and chip in with farm tasks like herding sheep.

In a recent trailer, Kelvin proudly spoke about his farming journey, stating, “I honestly believe it’s my calling after three years,” though Liz playfully reminded him that on a farm, the workload is “never-ending.”

This news follows the launch of their autobiographical book, Fletcher’s On The Farm: Mud, Mayhem, and Madness.

In addition, Kelvin has been busy with his new podcast venture, where he explores the world of soap operas, delving into storylines from two shows he starred in, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

Having spent twenty years on the latter, his farming days may now be his focus, but through his podcast ‘Off Script’, he gets the chance to chat with present cast members from the ITV favourite, much to the delight of fans seeking more insight into his experiences.
